You asked for the code soon 2 weeks ago.
You have take a long time to review it.
When you ask for code you also take on a big responsibility of clearing all question marks and justifying the cost for the job.
It means you have a way of no return in all discussions.

You have been delayed and you have failed to deliver working good code.
You were surprised that the inventory was not set correctly on the giftcards. Why? You had the code for one week and you had not seen this.
Then you are surprised that tghe card charge is not going through. And you then come up with an excuse that the card charge did not work with teh automatic invoice creationg and you did not need to do anything to make it work as it was not specified.

Wel man. Here all falls back to you again. You have requested the code. You said the reason was to analyse it.
Now I wonder if you spent a whole week how can the above be a surprise? You have no excuses whatsoever.

I have also shared postman collections and all kinds of explanations that were very clear. I gave a JSON formatted body. What did you do?
You send me a parameter formated URL which is not the way it should be done. You do not even adhere to the URL I shared with you.
Now, on top of the failing knowledge despite of spendin one week on analysis you are delayed. You spend almost 3 days on delivering an API which for the other developer I have takes a few hours.
And on top of this you solve the problem AFTER I had received the code for the gift card area.

so what did you then do during the first 3 days?

This kind of behaviour buys only bad credibility where you tried to milk me on money and waste my time.

So you have been paid well enough with the money you received. When you now show no insight in that you cannot get fully paid despite you are 2 days delayed and the code is not working fully it is appalling to realise you do not do this.
In India you must realise that you get fully paid if you deliver ON TIME. if you exceed you are delaying other developers also which cost me money. Money that YOU cost me is something you must pay.
And in normal cases here in Europe with professional developers the developer are also fined per day of delay.

This does not seem to be something you understand at all. Cause and effect. You just see "I have delivered".

so now I am also cancelling the work with you.

you are slow and have a very bad attitude which is completely unacceptable in a professional relationship.
you take on a job, you reviewed the code, you should have been razor sharp in your estimate and you should have told me "this is missing, this is failing, I include this too".
Instead you are delayed, do not solve the problems and have a bad attitude.
