Python script for calculating state sales taxes. It took a little bit of explaining, a few examples, and some time emailing back and forth about what need to be done and the end results that I was looking for. After that John knew exactly what need to be done and got the job done promptly. Highly recommended and would use again for python script writing.

John has just completed a very difficult job for me.
I previously worked with two other developers prior to moving over to John. Both were experienced developers, had good recommendations but then failed miserably to complete the three scripts that I had commissioned. I was becoming very disillusioned. After the second one failed, I decided to move on again. I had already lost so much time and cost (1 year in fact) between the two of them that I was in despair of finding someone capable. Looking through proposals and speaking to applicants I could predict that not many would be capable with my requests. Eventually I chose John.
After outlining all of the problems that needed dealing with in the scripts. He had very few further questions and got on with the job. He amazed me with the result. Every request I had was dealt with professionally, efficiently and ran as it should.
I see that every comment on his account has highly praised him…. I am confident he deserves every single one of them. I will certainly be using him again soon.
