Our goal is to be a long-term 'trusted' partner to our clients in the field of selling, enabling them to reach their revenue objectives. My role as a Business Development Executive means that I am responsible for making between 80 and 120 calls per day to potential clients and arranging business meetings.

My methodology involves using non traditional telemarketing techniques, so always a unique approach, I would open the call up by using a pattern interrupt, match tonality and pace, very rarely would someone refuse talk to me.

Once i have spoken to the prospect and if there was ever a reason for me to call the client back, then i would find out what would happen next, what would the next steps be, their decision making process, and where appropriate find out if they have budget in place etc.

Typically I would be responsible for speaking to Sales Directors and CEO's throughout Europe, Middle East, Asia mainly but sometimes the US as well and identify those that were looking for additional telemarketing resource or those that were looking to break into new markets.

I am reliable and trustworthy and will act as your lead generation/sales arm.

If your product is saleable then I can sell it.

There goal is to be a long-term 'trusted' partner to clients in the field of selling, enabling them to reach their revenue objectives.

In my role as Business Development Executive I was predominately responsible for generating new business opportunities for VMG. By making between 80 and 120 calls per day to Sales Directors and CEO's of medium to large enterprises to either build a solid sales pipeline by qualifying leads from cold and arranging approximately business meetings for my Director to sell the services of VMG and gain a telemarketing project from them. There average ticket value is around £4-£5,000 for a ten day pilot.

When not canvassing for VMG, I work on our client's projects. These are diverse and therefore I could be making appointments for a company that provides outside fabric structures to schools with an average ticket value of around £5k or selling the services of a high level motivational coach/foreign language trainer/cost management consultant and also speaking to financial traders throughout Europe, USA, Middle East and Asia to book web seminars, book face to face appointments, other times just build rapport and create brand awareness for a client that provides software solutions to energy trading houses with a high value proposition and a minimum ticket value of around £150k and up to around £2 million with an extremely long sales cycle.

Other duties include project leading which involves being a dedicated account manager for our clients and attending client briefing meetings which involves confirming both pilot and roll out projects.

    A bit of a strange client this one with claims he can hypnotise people over the phone.

    I must say I lost confidence early on during the start of this project due to negative feedback received from a cold call and the person claiming that the client is a fraud!

    I do feel his feedback is unfair as I only completed 4 hours and handed the project back to him.

    Also I enquired about Virtual Gastric Band hypnosis and he wasn't able to answer the questions.
