With excellent communication skills; I am a confident, articulate communicator at all levels, and enjoy working as part of a team and value the experience and input of others. I am well-organised, passionate with an eye for detail, and relish being challenged in the work I produce. I thrive working under pressure and have the ability to respond positively to issues and challenges in a fast-changing enviroment.     Work Experience Summary: Sept 2007 - April 2009
    MS&L
    Graphics Manager
    Leading a team of two designers. I was responsible for all graphical content within MS&L and its clients. Working with many blue-chip companies such as Coca-Cola, Courvoisier, Shell, Philips, Gucci and Rolex; producing PR campaigns, event graphics, toolkits, HTML emails, websites and promotional mini-sites and reports. Whilst working in this high-pressured environment my team and I was charged with producing all promotional material both online and offline for MS&L's New Business and Marketing department,also contributing greatly to pitches and proposals, with powerpoint presentations, visual mock-ups and collateral to enhance presentations. On numerous occasions we were required to work for other european and global partners from the MS&L Network. I was instrumental in art directing and producing a european new business contact book for the company whilst also ensuring the company guidelines, which we produced were strictly adherred too.

    Achievements
    Commended twice and nominated three for Sabre awards whilst being employed.
    Developed my team to be more creative and confident with their work and their people skills.

    Dec 2006 - Sept 2007: ID Media London Ltd
    Designer:
    Working for ID Media, my role required me to design for both print and interactive media, this could include designing corporate brochures for hedge- fund investors or branding projects for blue-chip clients such as Toshiba and Renault. Other responbilities assigned to me, were the continued design of campaigns and promotions in print and screen for Renault and the furniture design company Ligne Roset. These projects were my responbility, and I was to ensure and maintain that the correct corporate styleguides were followed at all times. Other clients that I worked for were Elle Magazine (for which we was awarded New Media Age?s site of the week), Times Online (in conjunction with Shell and Ferrari), Sugar Magazine, T-mobile; this included print work as well as interface design for the Nokia N series phones. As well as working for external clients my position was also to create interesting and creative designs to promote and raise awareness of ID Media?s profile both with clients and the trade press.

    Achievements:
    Won New Media Age's Site of the WeeK: Award for Elle Magazine's UK website.

    Jan 2003 - Nov 2006: Corporate Communications Lewisham College
    Print Designer:
    My primary role as a Print Designer at Lewisham College was to promote the media profile of the college across all platforms, using print and screen-based graphics. This would entail designing annual reports, brochures, branding, exhibition graphics, posters and websites. I was also charged with creating teaching aids for teaching staff to assist in their lectures, whether that be producing a guide on colours for people with impaired vision or working on a catalogue of students? work for the school of supported learning. My role also included neogotiating and coordinating budgets and briefs from other departments/ sponsors, whilst still overcoming the physical resources, of leading and inspiring a team of two junior staff members; and maintaining high levels of quality design. My secondary role was to ensure that the college 'Brand' was used correctly, whether it be for external or internal use, and to liaise and build working relationships with external design agencies and printing companies to ensure a smooth process, which was concurrent and coherent with Lewisham College's message.

    Won Marketing Award for The EyeMagazine
    Successful transfer from QuarkXpress to InDesign
    Renewed the reputation of my department
    Have the ability to work on either Mac or PC

    Jan 2002 - Dec 2002: 190Diverse
    Freelance Graphic Designer:
    190 Diverse is my own company I formed to work under. This enabled me to work for a number of clients, such as The Sanctuary Group, Absolute Media, Incline Media, Media Intelligence and Sony Ericsson.

    Learnt to manage my time efficiently and effectively, whilst controlling budgets
    Collaborated on projects with blue chip firms

    July 2000 - Dec 2001: Virgin.net:
    Graphic Designer:
    My responsibilities included maintaining the correct Virgin.net brand guidelines, whilst creating a new identity for the company. Producing marketing material and promotions both online and print.

    Achievements:
    Created the Virgin.net identity
    Designed the Enemy at the Gates website, Film Four Purely Belter, and Sony Playstation

    Sept 1998- July 2000: Network Advantage:
    Junior Web/Graphic Designer:
    My position in the company was to design the company brand and brochure. To design and build websites; clients included Medway County Council, National Children?s Bureau and the London Connection.

    Learnt HTML and construction of websites
    Experienced a working creative environment

    Sept 1998 - July 1999 - London College of Printing
    Part-time Lecturer:
    Whilst working for Network Advantage, I was approached by the London College of Printing to do part-time tutoring for graphic design students. Setting my own projects for students and assisting the students with design software.
