Paracuru, BRHe's expensive, not very good and he don't do any research. Than he's gone for days.
His portfolio has nothing to do with what he deliver.

Not liking my work is a client prerogative. A bad review is also the client's prerogative. Slandering my work ethic and integrity is not.
Between 11th and 18th Sept I submitted a rough and then revisions in b/w with colour suggestions. Each time waiting for client notes before revising the submission. The finalised image was delivered on the 21st.
Before sending the initial rough, I researched images of both leisure and competitive kite surfers.
The surfer's pose was complimented and the general look, excluding the kite, approved (with tweaks). It was described by client as a 'great interpretation'.
Detailed changes (inc. technical detail) were needed to the style and look of the kite. These were defined by client.
Client also forwarded reference images.
From here I used both the client's supplied images and sourced additional images to clarify detail that wasn't clear in the client's.
Changes were made, design resubmitted.
Client requested further changes, forwarded new reference. Changes were made and artwork resubmitted. Client proposed minor changes and otherwise approved. Changes were made. Art was submitted in a finalised form responding to client's comments. This was a low res version for approval or further changes pending delivery of 2 x high res.
No word from client. I got on with other work without pestering. Still no word so contacted and client made it clear he wasn't happy with the final submission.
Cost wise, with research (yes, there was research) and revisions, the maximum hourly rate would be £10, far from expensive.
