    Work Experience Summary: I began working with the North West Regional Offender Health Team in September 2008, my duties include coordinating meetings and diaries for members of the Team, along with liaising with each of the 17 Prisons in the North West and all of the North West PCT Offender Health Leads and representatives.

    I arrange and attend meetings providing administrative services including minute taking and transcription of the minutes, distribution of agenda’s and paperwork, actions from these meetings may also be delegated for me to undertake.

    I am also responsible for coordinating and attending the annual Prison Health Performance and Quality Indicator meetings, which are audits of the partnership working between prison healthcare services. I collate the evidence required and write the reports with final submission to the Department of Health.

    I validate various statistics for the Team ie Hepatitis B vaccination uptake for all North West Prisons via the Prison Health Reporting System and SystmOne. I take responsibility for communication to internal and external colleagues of relevant information.

    I am responsible for arranging any training events or healthcare forums along with the region wide annual 2 day overnight conference in the Lake District.

    I also manage the Team’s budget, liaising with Finance regularly and providing the Team with monthly updates.

    The role involves travelling to venues / establishments all over the North West and working with a variety of internal and external agencies and colleagues in a professional and efficient manner.
