I have a fair IT skills and a good command over MS Word, Excel, and Power Point. Working with MNCs has also familiarized me with importance of quality and various quality related parameters. It has also boosted to my commitment to diversity. While working with different people under me, I learnt management of different people. Similarly working under different bosses, I learnt to follow the same orders executed in different styles. I have a good command over verbal and written communication. I also have a fairly well typing speed and good documentation is my passion. My strong analytical and quantitative skills have always helped me gain confidence and appraisal from my superiors. I have also worked and successfully completed certain assignments independently for other regional projects of my organization simultaneously with my job. Once knowing my objectives I plan to achieve them, build a committed team and help team members to give their best efforts.     Voluntary Health Association of India: May 2005 • October 2006
    Worked as a Research and Training Officer for HIV/AIDS Control Programme. The project aimed at reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS in six selected districts of low prevalence states of India through Panchayati Raj Institutions with the support of PMO-DFID U.K Supported HIV/AIDS Programmes in India. The basic project strategy was to sensitize & strengthen PRI members through peer educators to under take HIV/AIDS prevention activities and run campaigns for rural communities. I was responsible for carrying out Primary Research (Baseline) in the 6 project districts and Training of six project partners on Orientation of Elected Panchayati Raj Institutions on HIV/AIDS, Training of Peer Educators and Care & Support for people living with HIV/AIDS. I was also involved in other projects like Truckers project in Punjab, khoj and parivartan.


    Family Health Internationals: December 2004 • April 2005
    Worked as a Training and Research Coordinator - HIV/AIDS for a Family Health Internationals funded project, New Delhi. I was responsible for identifying and networking with local health care facilities and organizations providing treatment, care and support for people with STIs, liason with Condom manufactures and social marketing organizations, Undertake primary research at various Project locations/areas, organize training on HIV/AIDS for various corporate houses in and around Delhi, Train Health educators in Life skills education, Develop BCC (Behaviour Change Communication) strategy and organize BCC activities & Networking with other organizations urging to prevent HIV/AIDS such as UNESCO, ILO, UNAIDS, NACO and DSACS. The onus of organizing community events and their administration responsibility was entirely on our team. Apart from the above-mentioned profile, I was also actively involved in Resource Mobilization from various Corporate and Funding Agencies. I was simultaneously also providing technical skills on Health related issues to various Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) projects running under the organizational umbrella.

    Worked as an Interpersonal Communication Coordinator (ICC), Social Marketing Strategies for Maternal and Child Health Project, Population Services International, Haridwar. This projects aim was to establish a network of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy Practitioners (ISM&HPs) in Dehradun and Hardwar, with an objective to address MCH related needs of slum populations. It brought together quality MCH products at an affordable price, improved counseling services through health providers and communication activities to promote health-seeking behaviour. I was responsible for Mapping and Identification of Network Members, their Selection & Enrollment as per set criteria, work in coordination with the Training Agency, Monitoring and Post follow up of Training of Network Members, Undertaking BCC Activities in the community, Conduct school health programs on health and hygiene, promotion of Saadhan Network, Coordination and Liasoning with local NGO’s and working in coordination with the Project Director & Project Coordinator.

I was responsible for the Resource Centre and the Database, which had over 2300 Books/Documents. People in different department, from their own computers could access the read only version of the database, and accordingly their requests were processed. I was also responsible for online searches on request. I also provided support to the Research & Marketing Department by collection and analysis of secondary data available, helping them with report writing, editing, Hindi translations and field activities like pretesting of communication material

The study was all about analysis of data of prestesting the HIV/AIDs communication material (media and print) prepared by BBCWST.

    Involved in the Evaluation of communication activities of the demonstration project - "Saadhan" being implemented in four districts of Rajasthan. The main focus of the evaluation was to assess:
    ’· The awareness of the community about “Saadhan ”, exposure to mass media, and sources of awareness
    ’· Awareness of Saadhan Sahyogi and perception of the consumer about Sahyogi
    ’· Existing health seeking behavior w.r.t. RCH and motivations to adopt preventive behavior.
    ’· Remembrance of Saadhan in their last health problem and their feeling
    ’· Instances of consumer adopting preventive behavior
    ’· Expectations from Saadhan and extent of interest in utilizing Saadhan

    UNFPA, Rajasthan: November 2001 (One Month)
    Short assignment with, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) on Assessment of mobile Health Units providing relief to people in Earthquake affected area of Kutch, Gujarat. The study aimed at seeking the views of providers and beneficiaries regarding the utility and utilisation of Mobile Health Units for access to health care services. The methodology used was primarily FGDs, Indepth interviews, case studies and review of literature.

    Family Planning Association Of India, SFC Project Office, Bhopal, M.P., India, Field Placement from 1st April 2001- 15th May 2001. The purpose of this project was to study the monitoring & evaluation indicators of Small Family By Choice Project, develop Quality indicators and decision making Performa at all levels. It involved the overall review of the Management Information System (MIS) in four districts (Bhopal, Raisen, Vidhisha & Sagar) of Madhya Pradesh, India.
