Although I specialise in moodle and webct, my real passion is blogging, social media marketing and arts. I run a number of sites around the subject of mailart, coordinating over 70 artists on www.mailart365.com and hosting countless artists on www.myrealwall.com

My passions for e-learning and art have come together a number of times in lectures and exhibitions I have put on around the subject of mailart and I am ideally looking for opportunities to use my skills for the promotion of arts.

I have been a blogger for over 10 years and now I work a lot with Wordpress, Twitter, Ning, Facebook and Flickr and have used these and other tools extensively in recent years for promoting events.

    Area Covered: LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

    Work Experience
    -----------------

Summary: Currently I am working full time as an e-learning advisor at Roehampton University, where I advise academics on the use of electronic tools for teaching and learning.

In my spare time I do a large number of web projects, mainly using Wordpress, Twitter, Flickr and blogger, including a number of high profile mailart websites such as www.mailart365.com and www.myrealwall.com as well as www.schoolswaps.com, which is a fusion of e-learning and my postcard passion.

My most recent project is running a homeschooling network, which I have created with a homeschooling teacher. The site was built entirely from open source tools and aims to connect diverse and disparate communities of teachers and learners through web tools.

In addition to this, I am involved heavily in the Notting Hill carnival and St Johns Ambulance. As well as dancing like a crazy thing on the road, I also coordinate the photography corps for my carnival group and have been in charge of web decisions and uploading photos for the group for over 5 years.

Mainly I am interested in the potential for the internet to connect and inform people and this vein runs through everything I do. I am extremely interested in the use of social media for marketing and use it extensively in all my projects, both professional and personal and have a good track record of web promotions.
