Description
Experience Level: Entry
I have a couple of paragraphs I want to translate from English to French to send to a local official. Here they are:
We are writing to enquire if the commune would consider selling Plot 415 and the grassed land in front of our house which is the “end” of the Impasse. We believe that Plot 415 is owned by the Commune. We would like to purchase Plot 415 and the grassed land and transfer them to our ownership? The grassed area directly outside Number 3 does not have a number on the cadastral plan, but it is between plots 430, 433 and 446.
We use this land for parking and to access our rear garden (Plots 268 and 416) plus we already maintain the area and cut the grass. If we can purchase, then we aim to improve the parking in the area by agreeing with (Number 1 Impasse des Cerisiers) to remodel gardens and widen the space for cars. We would be very grateful if you would consider this to improve the parking facilities and access for us.
In addition, we would cordially advise that we will be erecting a new privacy fence along the boundary of our plot 268. We will be leaving the original fence and putting the new fence next to it on our side of the boundary. This was discussed with you and Bernard by our builder Steven Straderick for clarification. The new fence will be constructed of wooden closed panels which are 1 m 80 cm high. The new fence will be on the boundary of our neighbours plots 269 and 266. We will also notify the neighbours that the fence will be constructed.
We look forward to hearing from you.
