Need 30 min - 120 min of Chinese / Mandarin to English translation per day

The person will have to help in going through documents in Chinese / Mandarin/ Cantonese to English and communicate through Skype. It will not be full page translation but translation of specific areas. Translation will be of business documents like annual reports, company communication, websites etc. Any on ground understanding of retail chains / industry in China will be handy.

The person will need to choose an hour between 11 AM to 2 PM India time, Monday to Friday and during that time s/he will have to make herself available and communicate through Skype.

Per day requirement may vary from 30 minutes to 90 minutes and payment will be based on time consumed. We will communicate next day time required estimate to the person a day in advance.

This arrangement may continue for 10 days, depending on delivery quality and may extend both in scope and time depending on delivery.

As PPH does not allow less than USD 10, I could not ask for pricing per 30 minutes. Therefore please quote your price per 60 minutes - however payment will be in the 30 minutes bucket e.g. if you quote USD 10 per hour - and if we consume 1.4 hours - payment will be USD 15 for 1.5 hours. I am not sure if PPH allows that, but we will make payment every alternate day.

If the candidate is good, knows excel and have some understanding of business concepts, Searching ability in baidu.com and other local search engines and coming up with relevant searches will be certainly be rewarded extra. Future work possibilities are certainly there.

Ideal candidate will be a bachelor or masters of business studies student from China; who takes this up as a job to learn how to analyze retail industry.
