Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
We need some Korean audio recordings checking, to ensure that they correctly match the written script and have been recorded correctly.
We will send over a formatted script in Microsoft Excel, which includes all of the written lines and their filenames, and provide audio files (in batches) with filenames that match the script.
The script is approximately 7,000 words. It should take a few hours in total, over several days.
We need someone to listen to each file, and check it against the script.
What you’re checking for is:
A) Any lines where they audio doesn't match the script. Some of these lines needed to match the length of the English audio, so they may have had to change some things to make it fit. In these instances, we need you to notate the line change in the script, and state whether you think the change is ‘acceptable’ and still makes sense.
B) Any 'fluffs' within the recording i.e wrong words, bad pronunciation, words missing meaning it doesn’t make sense etc, that may mean the line needs to be rerecorded.
Timescales - we need someone who is available over the next week and a half to check the audio in batches. We will start receiving files from the studio in Korea in the next few days, and have to have everything checked by the end of next week.
