German and/or English translators needed

This includes editing technical documentation as well as multimedia publishing of the Official Journals of the EU, consulting on content management and the implementation and integration of ECM systems, certified translation of legal documents and layout of customer magazines. Our customers include EU institutions, federal government and regional authorities, industrial concerns, banks, press agencies, etc. Active across Europe, we currently employ over 600 staff at our central office in Luxembourg and affiliated offices in Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Belgium and Latvia: euroscript Baltija is a regional competence centre for<br />
- Baltic languages: LT, ET, LV; and RU;<br />
- Nordic languages: SV, FI. <br />

Right now we are looking for a skilled and devoted:<br />
<br />
• German and/or English • Lithuanian translator • reviser for technical projects (to work in Riga office)<br />
• German/English/French/Spanish/Portuguese • Lithuanian freelance translators for different translation projects<br />
<br />
About the job<br />
<br />
Our in-house translator will be part of the Lithuanian (Baltic) team. They will be required to perform translation, proofreading and other linguistic tasks, do research and compiling of glossaries and work with CAT tools. All translations will be done into the mother tongue.<br />
<br />
If you have: <br />
- education in relevant area;<br />
- at least some experience in translation;<br />
- excellent knowledge of German and/or English for technical translations (upper intermediate or advanced knowledge of one more official EU language will be considered an advantage);<br />
- teamwork and communication skills;<br />
- willingness and ability to work within deadlines;<br />
- motivation to excel in your daily work<br />
