Transcriptionist needed for digital audio file

Hello and welcome.

You are bidding on one 150-minute live translation interview with 2 speakers in mp3 format. Deadline is Thursday 22 May at 10 a.m. GMT.

Successful applicant will need to have experience in digital audio transcription, can type a minimum of 65 wpm, have their own high speed internet connection, and their own transcription software and foot pedal. The successful candidate/s must be able to pay close attention to detail, and communication is a must (e.g. confirm successful download of digital file, ask for clarification if required), and be able to meet the deadline. If the work standard is good, further work may follow.

Please note that successful applicants will be given a link to download the mp3 file. You will be required to send across the first 5 minutes of transcription so that quality and accuracy can be checked before proceeding.

Pay is £0.45 per audio minute.

Candidates must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement, and submit the completed file on the provided MS Word template within 24 hours of receiving link to audio.

Please also note that deposit amount must be less than the total amount payable for the job (e.g. less than £20). Also, if you are able to complete half the file, the assignment can be halved (e.g. 75 minutes), however preference will be given to those who can complete an entire file.

Finally, if the deadline is met and work is done to an excellent standard, there will be a bonus of £0.10/audio minute.
