Transcribe 22min of Video in French to text

I have a number of short videos in French that I need transcribing. In addition to the text from the video you also need to note the time that the words are spoken. this is because the data will be used to create subtitle files.

If you can also offer to Translate the French to another european language this would be appreciated but not mandatory.



You need to download the content from a SFTP server

Everything in the folder Upload/VodContent needs transcribing

There are:

8 x 1:50 clips
7x 0:10 clips
2 x 2.40 clips

Total duration 22 min


The Format of the text you note down should be as follows (we recommend you use notepad)

In the example below 00:00:01.000 is the time after the start of the video that the speech starts in Hours:Min:Seconds.000
Please don't put more than 50 characters on a line and no more than 3 lines in a time block

This is the first line of text, displaying from 1-10 seconds

And the second line of text
separated over two lines

You should name your file the same name as the video file you transcribed it from but with a .vtt extentaion validate that you have the format correct using http://quuz.org/webvtt/

Once valid you should upload the subtitles back to the folder you downloaded the video from
