Singapore-Based Native English Speakers for Voice Role-Play Task

Project Overview

We are seeking native Singaporean English speakers currently residing in Singapore to participate in a voice role-play audio data collection project.

The task involves simulated call-center style conversations using provided scripts. All conversations are fictional and for role-play purposes only. No real banks, customers, or personal/sensitive information are involved.

Audio will be captured automatically through a secure IVR system. Participants only need to place calls and follow the provided instructions. No manual audio recording, editing, or file uploads are required.

Language Requirement

Singaporean English (native or near-native fluency)

Task Responsibilities

Review a short role-play script provided for each task

Adapt the script naturally to reflect local Singaporean speaking style

Place a call to a designated international phone number

Enter a unique IVR ID when prompted

Perform one role per call (either Agent or Customer)

Speak clearly and naturally, simulating a realistic phone conversation

Pause briefly after completing the dialogue, then end the call

Required Skills

Clear and articulate spoken English

Natural conversational delivery

Ability to follow scripted instructions accurately

Comfort with role-play scenarios

Attention to detail during phone-based tasks

Eligibility Criteria

Currently residing in Singapore

Age range: 25–60 years

Quiet environment with minimal background noise

Use of headphones is not permitted

Maximum participation time: 40 minutes per participant
