Audio Transcription Support

I run a virtual office which I established some 7 years ago and have through hard work, late nights and juggling my hubby and kids around it have built up a large client base.

I do have a team of 12 assistants who assist me on an ad-hoc basis but I am yet again finding that at particular times of year I am having to step back from marketing and growth to transcribe again and although I love it I know it is know where I should be with my business.

I am therefore looking for experienced UK audio transcribers with a particular emphasis on property inventory and surveyor report transcription.

Pay is 40p per audio minute for standard turnaround and 45p for urgent same day/night turnaround for property reports and 50p and 60p for surveyor work. There are also other forms of transcription such as interview and legal transcription which are higher paid. In addition there is VA work including diary management and the like which is paid at £9-11 per hour dependant on the type of work and regularity.

It is therefore important that the candidates have a minimum typing speed of 70wpm otherwise the transcription would not be cost effective for you.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of my business and the clientele I have accumulated I do require such new assistants to sign a sub-contractor agreement clearly setting out our working relationship is one of contractors not employee/employer and that you are not to entice away my clients or staff and must keep my business and clientele confidentiality.

This agreement also states that work is ad-hoc and cannot be guaranteed. You choose when you want to work/availability and if I have work to send you on those days then I shall send it to you. If you do not wish to do a task I have assigned to you then you must let me know so that I can assign it elsewhere.

DO NOT apply if you are not happy to sign such an agreement.

I really hope I can gain a few new talented assistants to help my business grow and to give them an exciting new opportunity with scope to grow themselves and earn an income.
