Description
Experience Level: Expert
I’m putting together a research-and-development technical report in the Information Technology domain and want it written to publication-ready quality. The material will be used both for internal decision-making and as a basis for possible journal or white-paper submission, so clarity, depth, and proper academic referencing are all essential.
Scope
The finished document should run roughly 8–10 k words and follow a classic R&D structure: abstract, introduction, objectives, literature review, methodology, experimental or prototype details, data analysis, results, discussion, conclusions, and recommended next steps. Supporting visuals—architecture diagrams, flowcharts, tables, or graphs—need to be embedded in the text and provided as separate high-resolution files.
Writing & Formatting
• Tone: concise, objective, yet readable to non-specialist stakeholders.
• Citation style: IEEE (end-of-document reference list, numbered in-text).
• Tools: your choice of Word, LaTeX, or another professional editor so long as the final hand-off is a clean PDF plus an editable source file.
Acceptance Criteria
• All sections present and logically connected
• Minimum ten peer-reviewed sources, correctly cited
• No plagiarism (will be checked)
• Visuals labelled and referenced in the text
• Delivered as both PDF and editable source, ready for final branding
If you have recent examples of IT-focused R&D reporting, that will help me see how you handle depth and data interpretation. Looking forward to collaborating on a clear, compelling document.
