Outline & Structure: We are looking for someone that will be able to create 150 abstract reasoning questions according to the description below. The bidder needs to have experience creating abstract reasoning/IQ tests and be able to provide samples of that work. We will later on explain what difficulty level we have had in mind.
1. The questions should consist of 5 pictures and 5 alternatives.
2. Each question should also have an explanation about why the correct answer is in fact the correct one and how one should go about thinking in order to solve this and similar questions in the future.
3. The purpose of our service is to teach people practice and think right when taking similar tests which is why it is very important that the questions supplied are of various natures and include as many examples of different abstract reasoning questions as possible.
4. The matrices should only be illustrated in black/white and shades of grey and no other colors.
5. The question supplied are to be unique and created by you in terms of illustration and not be easily available in any book or internet.
Below is a list of suggested types of questions you would need to use. You are free to add your own.
• Rotations: (anti) clock-wise at a specific angle (e.g. 45, 90, 180, 270 or 360 degrees);
• Axial reflections: “mirror” reflection horizontally or vertically;
• Inversions: “negative” effect, black becomes white and vice-versa;
• Translations: figurine is shifted in a specific direction (right, left, up, down, diagonally);
• Visual arithmetic: mathematical relations (e.g. counting the number of black/white figurines, the number of lines, angles, intersections);
• Transformations: changing size or shape (e.g. increase or decrease in size, changing number of lines);
• Superposition: overlapping figurines form a new figurine, or one shape neutralizes the other (e.g. black eliminates white);
• Sequence with instructions: arrows or numbers indicate a particular logic that applies to one or more techniques.
• movement on vertical, horizontal and diagonal
We will ask the bidder who is awarded the project to sign an NDA agreement.
We require full transfer of all copyrights once the work is completed.
