Service focused Victim liaison, involving recording statements and accounts of crime.
Collaborate with other partnerships to monitor and faciliate surveillance, wire taps and other monitoring activities.
Oversee evidence collection and analyse results.
Interview witnesses for suspect information and crime scene details.
Record all evidence, file reports in a timely manner to the Crown Prosecution Service and testify in court when required.


PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Ensure all performance and customer/service quality targets are fully achieved at
all times, and service and quality standards are continually improved.
• Service accessibility for customers contacting the Operations Centre and take
ownership of all service requests/reports ensuring the effective analysis of
calls/contacts, the accurate identification of emergency situations and fully,
effectively and quickly achieving practical solutions.
• Continuously and effectively monitor all security, social, race attack, staff safety,
car park alarms and radio communications systems; ensuring full and effective
responses are achieved in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols.
• To ensure all CCTV is effectively monitored, and related processes undertaken in
accordance with client and police requirements and associated legislation; and
effective action pursued, in response to observed activities and incidents.
• Use sound judgement when managing critical incidents & complex queries, take
appropriate action and escalate when required.
