Description
Experience Level: Expert
We seek a skilled aviation professional to draft Continuing Design Recommendations (CDR) and Post Delivery Rectification (PDR) documents for a leading Korean airline. The candidate must have extensive experience authoring technical aviation reports according to international standards. CDRs outline suggested design modifications gathered from airline operational experience to continually enhance aircraft safety and performance. PDRs document issues found during delivery checks and the rectification programs put in place to remedy any problems. Both require synthesizing operational data and engneering findings into clear, well-structured documents utilizing precise technical language. The chosen individual will work closely with our flight operations and engineering teams to analyze fleet data and determine relevance to the aircraft type. Recommendations and repairs will then be carefully detailed accounting for rationale, implications and proposed implementation process. Grammatical precision and stylistic fluency is imperative to ensure regulatory bodies and manufacturers comprehend improvements. This is a flexible remote role offering an excellent opportunity to utilise specialised technical writing talents within the aviation sector. The successful applicant will possess diagnostic problem-solving skills combined with an ability to communicate complex issues succinctly. Relevant industry certifications and a portfolio of similar document samples are preferable. We aim to engage a dependable professional to enhance safety through continuous design evolution.
