Post-doc Application Consultation

Hello,

I am looking for a professional to consult and support a post-doctoral application in the area of Developmental Psychology and Applied Social and Cultural Psychology, specifically perception (most notably risk, loss, decision-making, and culture). In addition to a cover letter and full academic CV, the application hinges primarily on a three-year research plan that provide a clear outline of the direction of research during the fellowship rather than a fully detailed project proposal. It should give a sense of key research themes, possible projects, and how the research profile will build over the three years (for example in terms of outputs, collaborations, and potential external funding). The aim is to understand the trajectory and coherence of the proposed research programme rather than to see a single, highly specified study. The research plan will be 2-4 pages in length. Further information will be provided once the project begins. The project will likely take the form of an initial consultation forming a core structure/expectations for the document, ongoing redrafts and further consultations, and a final consultation before submission. Submission for the first week of April.

Required
-Excellent understanding of research proposals and relevant processes
-Previous experience preparing and submitting successful research proposals
-Excellent understanding of the relevant psychology and business entrepreneurship literature (an overview of the scope and key literatures will be provided at the initial stage of the project).
-Good availability over the next few weeks

Desirable
-Due to the limited time constraint, quick response and turn around time.
-Good availability is highly desirable but less important if work approach is less consultation and more redraft based.

Rate £25 - £35 p/h
*rate will scale depending on experience and relevant qualifications. Seasoned experts with experience in similar successful projects are especially welcome.
