I have a 26-page horror manuscript that is ready for its final polish before I upload it to Amazon KDP. What I need now is clean, professional interior formatting:
• Body text must be fully justified and set in one of those “normal fonts in most story book” styles—a classic, highly-readable serif that looks familiar to Kindle readers.
• Each chapter heading should appear in an “enchanted” italic, larger than the body copy, with an enhanced decorative first letter that subtly hints at the genre without becoming gothic or hard to read.
• Page breaks, margins, paragraph indents, and line spacing all need to be consistent with KDP guidelines so that the file passes Amazon’s automated checks the first time.
• Final deliverables should include both an upload-ready KPF/ePub file and a source document (DOCX or similar) so I can make future tweaks myself.
