Description
Topic: Decorating tools / hand tools
Tone: Enthusiastic
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: We have 246 products and we have drafted 5 descriptions and 5 bullet points for each (2,181 words total). The intended use is e-commerce and the audience is interested potential buyers.
We studied books which suggested the most effective way to write persuasive copy for the web. As a result we built a formula approach to creating product descriptions based on relevant keywords (for search engine optimisation) and also our product knowledge.
The problem with formulas is the output isn't perfect and there may be spelling and grammar issues. Some apparent spelling issues maybe brand play on words.
What we are looking for is someone to read through all the copy and perfect the spelling and grammar. In addition, where possible improve the copy making it more persuasive and compelling. Just be careful not to dilute any keywords.
We need to have the copy back within two weeks.
Copy is provided in an Excel sheet (available on request)
Bullet points must have a maximum character length of 200 characters (excel warns if this goes over)

Hi Matthew,
I'm certain you'll get bids on this even at the budget you've listed, but your indicated price is low considering the work that's involved to do this right, so I'm reluctant to spend a proposal credit on the job if you don't have room to spend a bit more.
I'll be honest, I'd be quoting something like twice the budget you're talking about. If I can prove to you that you'd be getting a premium product by paying that premium price, would that be of interest, or is the £350 pretty much a fixed budget?
