Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
We are looking for a NATIVE Dutch speaker, who is also fluent in English, to check over some video game localisation audio for quality assurance.
The job consists of checking the audio of 6,049 words against the translated Dutch script and the original English to ensure that the audio is grammatically and contextually sound. If the recorded audio is different to that of the script, we would need you to update that in an 'AsRec' column, whilst making notes of any discrepancies in the audio recording.
Access to a computer that can run Google sheets and can access the internet is required.
Recording schedules haven’t been provided yet so it’s unclear whether we’d be able to provide any batches before our offices close on the 24th Dec, but it’s likely most (if not all) of the recordings will be early January. We’ll provide further details and batches when they become available. We will let you know by the 23rd of December whether any batches will be sent prior to Christmas.
You would need to be available for the week commencing the 20th December incase we get audio in before Christmas, and then from the 4th to the 14th of January. The deadline to have the audio checked is the 13th of January.
We can provide an example script and a small batch of audio.
