Extra notes: I would like 5 storeys for children. The target age range is 4-8 year olds.
When read aloud I would like them to be approximately three minutes long each. As part of each one I would like to ask the child 4-5 questions such as : Their name, favourite colour, favourite animal, pet name, TV show, game/sport, whether their a boy or girl, best friend etc... and somehow incorporate that into the storey line. The questions can be anything that relates to the storey being told.
For example,:(Name) and (her/her) (favourite animal) went to play (game/sport) with (best friend).
Ideally the storeys would include some conversation from the person who the storey is about. Eg,
Narrator : Jack went to see his best friend Eddie at the play ground. Then Jack shouts to Eddie" (Jack speaks) "Look there's a Lion" (Narrator) They walked over to the towards the lion to investigate further. (Eddie speaks) "Are you sure we should go closer - I'm scared".
