Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Project overview:
We’re hunting for someone that can write a creative script based around a blog post we have produced already. The script will be passed over to a voice over artist which will then been used in an explainer style animation.
We would like this to be upbeat, fresh and humorous, maybe even quirky in places but insightful and informative. It needs to flow well and sound like conversational English. The language used should be confident, lively and fun but must demonstrate authority and a deep understanding of the subject.
We would also like direction as to whether you feel more emphasis should be placed on certain areas rather than others to make the end animation work as effectively as possible.
The basis of the script is the content of this blog post http://www.alivewithideas.com/blog/mastering-visual-magic
As reference we like this from a visual perspective although voice over is too monotone and factual
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6LtABooE2c
Key points:
• Two to two and a half minutes
• A quirky, creative feel
• Lively, fun, conversational tone
• Simple, short sentences
• Addition of humour
• An informative and interesting manner
• A strong and memorable finish
Goal:
The goal is to distil the information contained in the blog post and infographic into a lively script that captures the imagination of creative communicators and marketeers.
Audience:
The animation will be shared on our website and social media channels and seen primarily by a business audience.
Call to action:
To drive people to our website or connect with Alive via social media channels. We don’t want the language to feel salesy in any way so this message must be subtle.
