Instruction Sheet Development

Children's product company is looking to hire instruction sheet developers. Hires will be required to sign an NDA. Most assignments will be updates to existing products or will require using an existing instruction sheet to create a new one for a similar product. The ideal candidate should also be able to create new instruction sheets from scratch for new developments. We are looking to hire someone for a semi-permanent contractor position. Workload fluxes constantly, so a team would be better than an individual. Please see the attachment for the type of work expected.

•Must be able to work in InDesign or other PDF editing program
•Should be able to provide line drawings for new products
•Must be willing to purchase or acquire the required fonts
•Must have excellent proofreading skills
•Should be able to keep a running list of changes that will apply to all instruction sheets depending on the platform
•Some experience in technical writing or user manuals preferred
•Experience with children’s products helpful
