Editor Required - Island Explorer Magazine

Island Explorer is a lifestyle magazine focussed on the islands of Lagos, Nigeria and currently in development in the UK. We are looking for a freelance Editor to carry out editorial roles, UK only, to help the company in producing a soft launch version of the magazine to a very high standard similar to more accomplished publications. We intend to start circulating this version before the end of summer of 2011, hence expected completion of editorial work is by end of April of 2011. Successful development and launch of this magazine will lead to the production of a hard launch version which will again require the use of an editorial and production team.

We are looking for a freelance editor to act as the conduit to bring together this magazine. The editor will bring their experience and expertise to the fore and they will work towards producing a magazine that is unique to its market, but also fully achieve the aims that have been set out.

Reporting to the Magazine owners, the editor, UK based, will be expected to work with a team based in the UK and Nigeria. If you are interested can you please respond before end of February 2011.
