Description
Experience Level: Expert
Writer and photographer required to write an article for a project that I am doing on family crabbing outings. Must have photogenic children who love crabbing.
You'll need a bucket, bait and a crabbing line for the assignment - and kids.
The assignment must be carried out in Bridlington, Staithes, Scarborough or Whitby.
The article is for my soon to be launched website.
There will be a number of elements to complete for the assignment like location of toilets, where to buy crabbing equipment close by, any nice cafes in the area etc. The audience would be the same type of people who read wild swimming, cool camping etc. - yummy, outdoorsy families. As part of the article you will need to catch as many crabs as you can, using one line, in 90 minutes and record it photographically - the best time to catch crabs is just before and just after high tide - you will need to check the tide times for the location to make sure that you are there are the right time.
The assignment should be undertaken, if not on a sunny day, on a dry day.
You must be prepared to sign a model release form for any photographs of your children that you submit - obviously on the proviso that they will only be used for the crabbydays project.
The article, with photographs, must be submitted by Sunday 26th June.
