Description
Experience Level: Entry
I am looking for a writer who can help creatively write a 1,000 heartfelt article about my experience studying for a degree online for 2.5 years. The article should cover the following points
• Started the masters degree in October 2017, via distance learning.
• I live in London with 3 children and wife (detailed information will be given to shortlisted writer)
• I am first generation to study undergraduate and post graduate.
• Found the course a good challenge, even though I gained a first class in my undergraduate.
• I was unsure about learning online as I did my undergraduate on site. I was pleasantly surprised the quality of the learning material and delivery of online lectures and seminars.
• Student were very nice too, even though it was all online, it had a great time getting to know them through online interactions.
• Assignments were challenging to work around with a full-time job an noisy kids. But I followed these tips to get me through: https://www.citycollegepeterborough.ac.uk/student-info/learning-resources/10-tips-youre-studying-whilst-working-full-time/
• My wife and kids are my inspiration, even though at times they can be a bit noisy.
• When BLM became prominent last year, I was looked after well by my Dissertation supervisor (Name) who was very encouraging and would periodically check in on me which was nice.
• During this time, I was able to gain a new job at (X) due to the skills I was already learning on the degree.
• Pandemic has hit now, so there are not much opportunity now that I have graduated.
• But I have been involved in raising awareness for BAME staff in HE and even wrote an article here: (Link)
• I have now graduated with a distinction. Looking forward to the end of Covid19, but will miss he extended time I am able to spend with family due to lockdown.
Name, name of course and university will be provided to the shortlisted writer.
I need writer to be able to research and to be creative. Writer should be able to flesh out my points in a nice way. I am not too concerned what goes in, as long as it makes for a nice witty and heartfelt read which will encourage working parents to do things and push themselves, even if life seems hard.
