Num. of articles: 2
Words per article: 400

Tone: Informal/Casual
Outline & Structure: PARAGRAPHS , SUBHEADS, APPEALING HEADLINE
I’m aiming for something short of, say, up to 400 words for each article. Big topics can always be broken down into smaller sections, like a series of blog posts.
Extra notes: I’m looking for a couple of short educational articles about ECO and ECO funding, for a fairly well-informed audience.
The sorts of topics I’d like covered are:
The recent OFGEM consultation paper, some key points, and how this this will affect the industry (https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/286930/Energy_Company_Obligation__ECO__The_Future_of_the_Energy_Company_Obligation_Consultation_DocumentFINAL.pdf)
Reductions/proposed reductions in the level of ECO funding from 40p to 22p to 14p to 13p to 9p.
The most important points I’m looking for are how this will affect the industry, particularly installers of ECO measures, or, perhaps more importantly, what opportunities are presented for installers.
I'm aiming for a mix of opinion, comment and informed summary of what's proposed, what's likely to be the impact on the industry, and on the different strands of ECO. One point discussed could be, for example, proposed changes in funding for the HHCRO fund, and how many properties actually meet the criteria.
We have different segments in our market and we can address several groups (domestic energy assessors, installers, green deal providers, social landlords). The articles need to be clear and explicitly state who the comment is relevant to. The quality of analysis and market knowledge are more important than the quality of the writing in this case, as we can always polish that up later if we need to. So I’d prefer a decent writer who knows the market over a fantastic writer who doesn’t know the market.
I’d suggest we get started with one article to begin with, and there may be more opportunities for further articles depending on how things work out.

Please let me have a little background on your knowledge of the market, how soon you could produce the first article, and what your fee for this work, If you have any questions for me, please let me know!
Look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks
P.S. PLEASE WOULD YOU QUOTE A FIXED PRICE PER ARTICLE? THANK YOU.
PLEASE ALSO LET ME KNOW HOW SOON YOU CAN DELIVER THE FIRST ARTICLE. THANKS AGAIN!
LOOKING FOR PRACTICAL, REAL-WORLD COMMENT RATHER THAN THEORY. HOW WILL THESE ISSUES AFFECT INSTALLERS AND GREEN DEAL PROVIDERS? WHAT WILL BE THE IMPACT ON THERI BUSINESSES? WHAT ARE THE BEST OPORTUNITIES TO PURSUE AS THE MARKET DEVELOPS?
