Thanks for showing an interest in this project - I am looking for a researcher/writer to help with a documentary film project that I am currently working on.

I need some research conducting around:

1. Press coverage of refugees over the last 10 years in a broad sense and then a focus on coverage leading up to/during and since Brexit. Particularly looking to see examples/patterns of how refugees have been represented - i.e. types of words used to describe refugees, the way they have been positioned in the press/media, iconic refugee press images

2. Portrayal of refugees in film and TV over the last decade - how have refugees been represented in film and TV

This research would be used to support the 'backstory'/rationale for making the film. The sources of the research would need to be cited - preferably with some visuals/cuttings included (perhaps newspaper headlines, iconic press/TV images).

Please note - I am looking for a 'narrative' approach to this research, so this job will suit researcher/writer types rather than market/data researchers. You must be able to understand and convey the narrative context of the research rather than just numbers, stats, headlines etc.
