Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We have a growing site at which is basically a fully targeted 'shop window' for lab equipment suppliers and manufacturers. We build profile pages around key phrases and the site is doing very well in the search results. We are now creating revenue streams for this site and we now feel that it needs a more personal community element to give it some substance, structure and interactive nature. We are looking for a writer who would like to add blog posts to a number of different categories including 'editor comment' 'government and legislation' 'events and exhibitions' 'in the news' and maybe one or two other subjects (open to suggestions) This person would act on their own initiative and would be given a number of posts to add per month. They should be able to write about most science subjects including chemical, life sciences, clinical, bio tech, analytical etc. They would be given a lot of freedom to do this and to make the blog their own. We are looking for someone to create well written, topical pieces but also could offer their own views (controversial or otherwise) to the mix. A sense of humour and the ability to portray this side of their personality is a bonus. We'd like the blog to build up a loyal following and that is up to you. This can only be done with good quality optimised content and we'd tell you how to create backlinks to the main site if you don't have any experience of SEO strategies. The main purpose of this is to give our visitors really good content from someone they can grow to trust. We look forward to hearing from you.
