Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
This job is an ongoing commitment (if we both choose to) of about 3 hours per week initially. I would expect this to increase.
I would like to pay for work on an hourly basis, rather than using a task based method. Since you will be working remotely to me, this would mean that I would have to trust you to work diligently. I would like a brief update every week or so telling me what you have done in the time and links to any non-written copy you have worked on (i.e. SEO work).
The work involves a combination of the following:
- regular blog entries of about 250-300 words. I need about one entry each week, on topics of eco issues, gardening, money saving, etc. I will suggest topics, or you can suggest them to me - I welcome input.
- occasional articles of 800-1000 words. These are for posting on my websites, or on online article databases, so they will need to be SEO optimised. They will be on narrowly focused topics, which you never realised anyone would want to write about - e.g. how to insulate a pipe.
- newsletters. I try to send out about one a month and these need to be written in an html template format (using icontact.com)
- ongoing SEO. I will suggest key words that I would like moving up the Google rankings, and you will work the forums, link exchanges and any other appropriate (but legal) methods of getting my sites more visible using these words.
In this latter requirement, you will be the online presence of my business. You will create IDs in forums to offer advice and support, presenting yourself as a member of my staff.
My main site is focused on selling money saving, energy saving, grow your own, and eco products, It would help if you had an interest in this area.
You will need the ability to understand basic html, though not to the level necessary to create websites. You will also need to be able to create perfect copy - i.e. without spelling or grammar mistakes. My audience is generally the older generation and they notice mistakes, and care.
I would pay £10 per hour.
Can you help me?
