Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Num. of articles: 5
Words per article: 750
Information for the blog/website: We provide interesting articles about different subjects of general audience interest.
Topic: General
Tone: Humorous
Outline & Structure: I am looking for a creative writer who can write an informative article which is also quite laid back and funny. But a witty funny :).
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: I own a UK website which currently gets around 20,000 unique visitors per day. I am looking for an enthusiastic writer who would like to write articles for this website.
The subjects can be of your choice, but need to be interesting, eye catching and most of all the headlines need to be "the sort of thing you would click on to read if you saw it".
The articles themselves need to be written well and with good punctuation and English used. They also need to be cleverly written to have wit and humour. The audience in question are mostly between 18-35.
I will be recruiting writers for different categories on the website very soon (i.e: sport, entertainment, transport etc), so if you specialise writing a specific area, definitely send a proposal and we may be able to do business.
For this job when applying I want you to choose 5 articles and to tell me the following:
- Article Headlines
- What they will be about (roughly)
- A 100-200 word example of your writing style.
Note: If you just send me a message saying "I do writing" without the above info I will ignore you and will NOT be shortlisted!
Thanks very much and I look forward to seeing the applications fly in and choosing the candidate!
PS: English ONLY - I will NOT accept India proposals or proposals from abroad. You need to be English and living in England to understand what the general public would like.
