I have already completed some research into this subject and have attached a document with my findings to help with the writing - the general gist would be that due to many of the workers being on low pay within this industry the NLW increase will have a major impact on increasing labour costs putting pressure on businesses to cut costs from other areas, it may lead to redundancies etc. initially, however the increase is ultimately a good thing for both employees and businesses as evidence has shown that the introduction of the NLW has increased employee loyalty to the company (reducing turnover and absence).

Our company is a leading provider of professional membership and accredited training for the cleaning industry so if this could be linked into the article as training is a great way improve employee engagement, productivity and retention rates thus reducing employment costs (offsetting the costs of the increase in the NLW) that would be great.
