In a particular hydraulic system a release of 100litres is needed for 6 seconds every minute. Given that all calculations that involve gas require valves of pressure and temperature are to be complete in units. V1, v2 and v3 refer to the gas volumes. Calculate a suitable size of pump and accumulator if:-
A.) Minimum system pressure is 100 bar gauge
B.) Maximum system pressure bar is 150 bar
C.) Accumulator precharge pressure is 90% of minimum system pressure.
D.) The gas is compressed isothermally (pv=constant) during charging
E.) The gas expands adiabatically (pb1.4= constant) during charge
