Description
Experience Level: Entry
Num. of articles: 3
Words per article: 600-700
Blog/website url: www.sandnsunhoneymoons.com
Information for the blog/website: Wedding
Industry: Lifestyle/Travel
Topic: Wedding & Honeymoon Blog
Tone: Informal/Casual
Outline & Structure: Looking for an individual or several "ghost writers" to write an alternating bi weekly article for newsletter/ blog from a pro travel agency perspective on Honeymoons and Destination Weddings.
This is intended to be started as weekly series, one week honeymoons- the next destination weddings that I can either assign to one writer (if I can find someone who is good, within my budget, and can commit to a weekly submission) or several writers.
I am looking for somebody that can write specific, engaging and focused content with a splash of humor here and there and also including fun and romance. Helping to shape and create a "voice" for the agency.
Topics would range from writing primarily about travel topics such as destinations, activities, attractions, general travel, honeymoon, to general wedding topics, etc. I will provide an editorial calendar for the majority of blog posts. I'd like to rely on this individual's creativeness and skill to research timely travel, honeymoon, and wedding topics/ products as well.
Ideally this would be one person who I can spend some upfront time with to educate on our specialties and preferences so that the content will reflect the agency and promote it as relevant to those between the ages of 24-35 AND, most importantly that the content is interesting and provides value to the reader.
To start I'm posting this for 3 blog entries:
- Top 3 Honeymoon Destinations For Active Couples (include favorite resorts in each destination)
- The exotic Caribbean island of Grenada
- Common destination wedding acronyms and what they stand for
You can see some of my other blog posts that we’ve commissioned at www.sandnsunhoneymoons.com under blogs. I'd like to keep the tone of the blog conversational, like I am chatting with a friend, instead of educational or informal. Any tit-bits that seem to be insider info would be great!
Native English speakers only. US English spelling required.
We have a budget of £15 for all 3 articles as we will be taking on a number of writers to compare style and hopefully identify who we want to work with on a regular basis.
Please highlight why you think you would be well suited to write about these topics.
Extra notes: Blog 1 needed by Tuesday 6pm GMT
Blog 2 needed by Wednesday 6pm GMT
Blog 3 needed by Thursday 6pm GMT
Please confirm that you can commit to this timeframe.
