Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We publish a magazine aimed at people leaving the Armed Forces. We provide advice on Employment, Education and Training.
Number of Articles: 1
Word Count: 900
Brief:
Many of us can’t remember a time without the National Health Service (NHS); hardly surprising given that it reaches its 70th anniversary in 2018.
The NHS is a great achievement and one kept up today, in no small part, by the passion and enthusiasm of its workforce. Nevertheless, it faces obvious challenges.
Discuss employment options for non clinical roles across the NHS from the perspective of Service-leavers whose attributes of leadership and discipline combine with their skills to make them ideal candidates.
Summary:
We are looking for a piece about job opportunities available in non clinical roles within the NHS and how service-leavers might be the ideal candidates for this type of role
Highlight a few non clinical roles and give an overview of each of these roles. You could include the following info (plus anything else you may feel relevant about each of these roles):
Entry requirements
Skills required
Pay and conditions
Where the role can lead / career progression
The magazine aims to provide advice for our readers. To give them information that they can take away and use. The basis of the feature should be about non-medical employment options. This should be a feature which provides information/career advice for our readers, not an opinion piece.
