Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am looking for article writers with either an education background or some academic knowledge.
This job should suit teachers, people working in education, graduates or students or post-grad students, or anyone who is good at writing can do good research.
I need 2 types of writing done.
GUIDE STYLE ARTICLES
The first I am calling factual guide style articles. They can be anywhere from 2,000 words to 10,000 words long. The type of Guides I want to be written include: “A Guide to GCSE Options” and “A Guide to the New GCSE 9 to 1 Grades” and “A Guide to GCSE Maths Syllabus for AQA Exam Board” and many others.
I have given you a couple of links to similar things online below:

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-gcse-9-to-1-grades-coming-soon
The Guides will be ad-hoc as and when required, but it might be 1 a month, to begin with. Maybe more.
GCSE SUBJECT BASED ARTICLES
The second type of writing that I need to be done are GCSE subject based articles. The subjects can be most of the popular subjects including Maths, English, English Lit, General Science, Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Computer Science and so on.
The subject-based articles can be like the below Maths examples:
How To Practice The Word Based Questions On Your Maths Exam
How To Use BIDMAS Correctly
Or for Chemistry, “Easy Ways to Name Chemical Compounds”.
How it has worked with the writers who are already working with me is: I normally ask the writer to send me 2 or 3 titles or topics that they like, and I then chose one. I feel it is the best way as the writer normally will know the subject much better than me. Some writers write one a week, some take longer, but it rolls like that from week to week.
In terms of guidance, I am fairly flexible and relaxed. These are articles are about academic topics, so I normally suggest to writers to add a bit of humour and keep the writing informal as possible so not put off 14-16-year-olds pr their parents! The audience will be students and parents. I normally like writing style where I can almost see or feel the writers character or sense of humour from the writing style. Otherwise it's all very flexible.
The subject-based articles will be a regular thing, probably 1 a week or even 2 a week or more. The articles need to be on average about 2,500 words long.
My budgets are limited, as its going to be ongoing regular work, I would hope for some flexibility on rates. Thank you for reading.
Please feel free to ask questions. The jobs can be started immediately. I am looking to pay a fixed price per article.
