Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Num. of words: 300—400
Website url: https://www.museumslondon.org/museum.php?id=217
Information for the blog/website: Museums London is a free online directory of 200+ museums in London, search by category, area or admission type.
Num. of web pages: 1
Description of every page: Each museum page talks about the story of the museum, how the museum relates to London in general and reasons to visit.
The site doesn't exist to "sell directly" but more "persuade through interesting and engaging content". We want to showcase as much factual, relevant, interesting and above all useful as possible.
If the BBC television show "QI" was to be a website dedicated to the museums in London, this would be it!
Tone: Objective/Impersonal
Outline & Structure: • 300—400 words of engaging copy detailing the overall details and story of the museum followed by…
• A least 2 items on permanent display that are of interest that visitors must see when planning a trip to the museum
• At least 1 quirky and interesting fact fact that either directly or indirectly relates to the museum e.g "Between 1900-1933 The British Museum had its own tube station on the Central line."
Example pages:
https://www.museumslondon.org/museum.php?id=25
https://www.museumslondon.org/museum.php?id=35
https://www.museumslondon.org/museum.php?id=30
Extra notes: You need to be London based as a visit to the museum will be required.
As this is a largely research based, all travel and entrance fee will gladly be expensed.
This is a fixed price, per job — and there are a lot of museums to research and write about.
