Children’s Science Writer

Outline & Structure: Looking for a highly creative children's science writer to devise 3 unique and original activities/projects within the areas of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) for children aged 8-11 years old.

These will be based around a specific theme (tbc) and will need to include a list of materials (simple items easily found around the home), the method and a short blurb on the science behind each activity/project.

You must have a qualification in one or more science based subjects and some experience in the field. You will also be skilled at explaining scientific concepts to children in easy, engaging language.

If you have a background in teaching children at primary school level or beyond, you'd be very welcome, but it is not essential for this role.

Rate of pay: £Neg depending on experience. Please quote based on the above.
