Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
There are instincts in mankind and the animal kingdom in general which galvanizes an uncontrollable urge to chase down prey and make a kill which is not always for culinary purposes. Just by running from someone it triggers a reaction from the observer to give chase. Dogs do it, and so do humans. We learn it from childhood when we play tag. Tie this to the rites and customs and traditions mankind has set in place when they set out both in ancient times and modern times for a hunt of sorts or to track down an enemy and either capture him or kill him. Compare the traditions of ancient hunting practices essential to every day life to the traditions of earning a buck in today's world. Tie this to the hunting industry where hunters gather to flirt with their killer instinct and to feel the thrill of a chase down. The good ole English Fox Hunt is a fine example. Explain how hunting seems to be an innate need in mankind. In many sports giving chase is an integral part of the sport or at a minimum it is one of the elements in the game. The lion's share of video game themes have an integral element of giving chase to something or someone. In the sport of Polearmball for which its website you are writing for, giving chase is a main staple of the game. Please make mention of this fact in your rhetoric which can vary from 500 words to 2000 words. It depends on how much heart you put into this to make it work. For some less is more. For others more is not enough.
