Description
Experience Level: Expert
As discussed the last time with some of you we'd still like to try a few other writers as we feel there's a lot of talent we couldn't absorb with our previous ad.
Here's our previous ad:
We are a cross-media cultural blog reviewing the local transdisciplinary scenes in London, Paris & Madrid and currently looking to bring on board a new fine & digital arts London-based critic.
Ideally we're after a restless writer who is capable of contributing mainly on the digital, motion & new media and fine arts categories to our blog, although for now we'd love someone who can focus on the London arts scene (visual, digital & performing arts - music excluded) with a rather unique taste and clearly differentiated style. (Please have a look at our latest articles so you get the idea of what topics we tend to cover. A couple of examples: http://www.aqnb.com/2012/10/10/christobal-de-oliveira-le-cube-review/ & http://www.aqnb.com/2012/10/18/christian-marclay-everyday-at-the-queen-elizabeth-hall-review/ )
The ideal critic would be an experienced blogger who would be able to contribute one to four pieces a month (that may go from reviews to interviews) on a varied number of selected topics. Although your background may not strictly have anything to do with the world of art, we appreciate writers who know the subjects, artists and material they're covering such as arts students, curators, technologists ...etc.
When bidding please tell us a bit about yourself, your passions and if possible, provide us with a few accessible on-line examples of your previous articles, critiques, reviews...etc.
We're really after the right profile & a proactive attitude rather than someone who's only after some extra ££ as we tend to establish long-lasting relationships with our contributors if the material is great ;)
For any questions just ask!
Budget: To be discussed starting @ £30/article for this test (adding extra £10 for the PPH fees), then normal reviews stay at £35 and in-depth articles and interviews can go up to £45.
