Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We’re looking for qualified teachers to work on a project basis writing editorial content for the EdPlace blog.
About EdPlace
Our mission is to get students succeeding. We provide interactive worksheets, assessments and revision materials to guide students on a personalized learning journey, that helps increase their grades and comprehension in English, maths and science. All our activities are aligned with the National Curriculum and cover key stages 1 to 4.
EdPlace is packed with smart features such as automatic assigning and marking, progress reports, customizable rewards and more– all designed specifically to support parents and tutors during their child’s learning journey.
Visit www.edplace.com for more information.
About the Role
As a business, we’re focusing on delivering additional value-added content for our customers and consumers. Our blog posts act as learning expansions on top of our current worksheets, and learning guides for those who come across them via search engines. We also publish advice articles for parents and tutors.
We're in need of a writer who is experienced in teaching students with Dyslexia for a help and advice article. The topic is Dyslexia in the 21st Century, so the content will need to provide links to useful online tools as well as general tips and advice. We will provide you with a detailed brief.
The brand’s tone of voice is friendly and supportive, but not overly colloquial or “sassy”, so teachers able to write to this style would be a great fit.
We’ll provide you with image libraries and any other access you need to create engaging and informative posts. You’ll also be responsible for writing briefs should any graphics be needed to better explain a topic.
Requirements
- Must be familiar with the UK National Curriculum
- Must have at least 2+ years experience teaching in the UK as a qualified teacher
- Experience teaching Dyslexic students in the UK preferred but not required if you have expertise / experience working with students with LDs.
- Competent copywriting skills.
Pay
Our hourly rate is £17.50
