Write press release and distribute to relevant press for new Manchester food company

SOOP is a new start-up company based in Manchester, UK which was born out of a frustration at finding a hot, fresh and tasty meal on the go. Most of the quick meal options available were full of fat, carbohydrates and calories, so I started making my own fresh noodle soups. Some of my colleagues noticed and asked where they could get them, so I started to make soups for them and SOOP was born.

All SOOP products are quick and easy to make - just keep them in the fridge until you’re ready to eat, then add boiling water for a full-flavoured SOOP made every morning from 100% fresh ingredients.

I'm looking for a marketing person with experience in the food sector to write and distribute a press release for the launch of the new business. Any enquiries resulting from the distribution will then be dealt with in house.

We are launching on 28th September at the Manchester Food and Drinks festival and will require advice on the timing of the release.
