Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Hello there,
As part of an annual State of Internet Freedom in Africa report, I a looking for a compelling researcher and writer to put to together a 10-page report with backed up empirical evidence. I will be working with you to ensure this is done in good time and with the most useful information within.
I am hoping to get a comprehensive draft within the first week of September, 2019. I have attached a detailed guidance note that explains the project clearly but essentially this is a country report on the state of Internet Freedoms in Cameroon - Central Africa relating to events between 2009-2019.
I have written the country report for the Digital Rights and Freedoms report 2016 and 2017 and I am attaching some links here:

http://paradigmhq.org/download/digital-rights-in-africa-report-2017-2/
http://paradigmhq.org/download/digital-rights-in-africa-report-2016-lr/
There are also quite a few reads that can help respond to the guidance notes and I can provide more direct research work, laws, names and quotes for your benefit.

Essentially, the crux of his report lies in:
- Interviews with key sources
- key developments and trends in Cameroon during the time period to date
- What drives these trends and government responses
The context of every relevant information is what will make the report compelling.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Hi Kathleen, after reviewing the pdf, and tasks involved is there any flexibility in your budget?
Kathleen N.21 Aug 2019That depends on what the ''review in budget'' entails and what is being offered that exceeds my expectations.
