Create a survey, to engage businesses and create report

We're looking to create a survey to enable us to develop a report to help build our reputation as experts in our field.

The survey could either live on our (Wordpress) website and appear as a pop up when users show intent to leave. OR we could reach out via social media. OR other ideas?...

We'd like you to:

• Write a survey. (With good techniques to ensure a good level of engagement and completed surveys).

• Advise us on how to reach out to businesses (ideally getting 100 to 1000 replies) to help develop some worthwhile stats. The areas they work in could vary across tech, health, finance. manufacture etc for a broad range of input.

• We'd then like the results put together as a smart-looking report PDF. With our own company brand colours, and some iconography.

• Plus we'll create a partial online version.

The idea is similar to how Wyzowl have made themselves an authority in video marketing. With an annual survey and results.

Our area of business is different but along a similar line.

Someone with experience and ideas to bring to the table on this would be greatly appreciated.

Our aim is to create some interesting stats, a PDF people are keen to download and stats that have useful value and hopefully increase links to our own business site, rasing our companies authority on the subject matter.
