London-based publication requires freelance news writer.

Role mainly entails piecing together information -

£50 per 500 words ( all content provided)

Job description

• Writing online news content (all content provided)
• Producing well-written, clean, copy that conforms to house style
• Fact checking information to adhere to quality standards
• Occasional writing features and analysis for the quarterly print product (all content provided)
• Occasional proof reading

Role Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of writing background, including in business and finance
• Experience writing both news and features
• Must be able to perform on real-time deadlines and generate stories quickly and accurately
• Good numerical skills are vital

Candidates will be required to submit a sample of previously published work.

A writing test and traceable references will be required.
