Write a small Windos XP filter driver

The filter driver should intercept system and application calls to Windows that retrieves Battery Status information of a Notebook Battery and slightly change the information returned to Windows. The change wanted is minimal (i.e.. if reports 100% charged and battery offline, then change this to Online). Driver should preferably be able to be installed and uninstalled without a reboot (if poss)
